VERSA ("we," "us," "our") operates a Workforce Competency Platform that connects clients with qualified trainers and manages HRD Corp programme registration in Malaysia. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, and how it's handled.

1. Information We Collect

Depending on whether you use VERSA as a client or a trainer, we may collect:

• Contact details: name, email address, phone number.
• Trainer profile information: company/business name, state/location, HRD Corp status (e.g. TTT Certified, TTT Exempted, HRD Corp Accredited Trainer), years of experience, training categories, industries served, languages, and training days delivered.
• Documents you upload: CVs, training profiles, and HRD Corp certification files.
• Training programme content: programme titles, outlines, learning objectives, and related materials submitted by trainers. This content remains the trainer's exclusive intellectual property — see our Terms of Service.
• Communications: messages you send us, quotation requests, and survey responses.
• Marketing preferences: whether you've opted in to receive updates, based on the consent you give at signup.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To match clients with suitable trainers based on training category.
• To prepare and manage HRD Corp programme registration on a trainer's behalf, where applicable.
• To notify clients when a programme's HRD Corp status changes (e.g. approved).
• To operate the quotation process between clients and trainers.
• To send platform updates or marketing communications, only where you've opted in.
• To improve and secure the VERSA platform.

3. Trainer Intellectual Property

Programme outlines, objectives, slides, activities, and assessments that a trainer uploads or approves are treated as that trainer's exclusive intellectual property. VERSA does not share one trainer's programme content with another trainer, and does not use one trainer's materials to generate proposals for a different trainer.

4. Who We Share Data With

• Between clients and trainers: when a client requests a quotation, relevant trainer profile information (not proprietary programme content) is shared with that client, and vice versa.
• HRD Corp: where a trainer's programme requires registration, relevant programme and trainer details are submitted to HRD Corp on the trainer's behalf.
• Service providers: we use third-party tools (such as our CRM/form platform) to operate the marketplace. These providers only process data on our instructions.
• We do not sell personal data to third parties.

5. Data Retention

We retain personal data for as long as your account is active, or as needed to provide the services you've requested, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

6. Your Rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and you may withdraw marketing consent at any time. To make a request, contact us using the details below.
